This hi-hat clutch is a solid choice, especially for the price. It holds the cymbals securely, and the build quality is surprisingly good for the cost. The alloy construction feels durable, and it fits well on my hi-hat stand.The only thing I don’t love is the red colour. I would have preferred a more neutral option. But that’s just personal preference and doesn’t affect the performance.I’m impressed with how well it works, so I’ll be ordering a few more as spares. If you need a reliable and affordable hi-hat clutch, this one is definitely worth considering.

Nice replacement for the 20-30 year old clutch I had before. Easy adjustment with the large positioning thumb screw.

Very cheap white metal/aluminum starting chipping when taking right out of the package. One of the felt pieces was missing. The description states, something along the lines of "pinch both sides of the bottom locking nut to release and place the top hi-hat cymbal" . This was not there, it was a manual turn type of locking nut.
