This is a great product if you have an attic fan you want to control according to temperature, or a window a/c unit that the temperature control doesn't work on anymore. One thing it does NOT do is work on a space heater, unlike what the video reviews say. This will only activate if the temperature goes ABOVE the set temp, which is the exact opposite of what a space heater would need, which it to activate if the temperature goes BELOW the set temp.

The temperature reading is higher than what the actual temperature is in the greenhouse which causes the problem and turns my exhaust fan on way too early

I installed this with the idea of moving air inside my garage with a wall mounted fan and it worked like a dream. It kept things cool and constant without my having to do a single thing. Worth the price.

I have to set heavy duty cooling ON when my server room is hot. For this use case I am using this and proven best so far, it detects my preset temperature and able to turn on my cooling machine when needed so this way my cooler is not required to ON 24/7 and so I am saving time by turning on whenever it is required by temperature sense. I love this tool which can be useful for other use cases too because it’s just a plug so easy to plug in out!

I bought the ALORAIR Adjustable Thermostat Control to manage my heater, and it works great! It was easy to install and allows me to set the temperature precisely. The overload protector is a nice safety feature, and the build quality feels solid. Highly recommend it for anyone needing a reliable thermostat!

I bought this thermostat to automatically turn on and off a box fan that cool my computer racks in the garage during the hot Arizona summers. This is a well made temperature control box. It is easy to set the setpoint using the up and down arrows on the front. The green LED display alternates between always showing the current temperature and showing the setpoint (while adjusting it). The round green led indicates when the outlet is “on”. The controller has hysteresis built into it, so it doesn’t turn your fan (or other electrical load) off/on rapidly, if you're near the set-point. The instructions were well written and easy to understand. The unit has tabs, mounting holes and included anchors to easily wall mount it.I have used a cheap dumb box fan for years for supplemental computer server cooling in the summer. I just plugged that fan into the outlet in the thermostat box and set the set-point. I’ll dial the temperature in better when it gets hotter in the garage. This thermostat has plenty of range (up to 120 F set-point) for the warm Arizona summers. I haven’t mounted it yet, but it will be easy when I do.

Think about attic or closed spaces, garages, equipment cabinets for HVAC, A/V, Network, and/or Security equipment - there are so many places where the ability to turn a fan or heater on/off based on temperature is valuable. I'm using this for a outdoor networking cabinet to keep it cool (by connecting a fan) during hotter temps.
