Every spring I put alpaca fur in a suet holder and within a few days, I can see birds have been pulling at it. This fur is soft and gives the birds a little luxury for a cozy nest. I would definitely buy again.

They sent a huge bag of various colored alpaca fur! All the birds for miles will be able to make nests with it. Looking forward to putting it when it's nesting time.

Thank you, thank you, thank you... This is beautiful material! So soft! The birds thank you too! I was also thinking for anyone making plushies that doesn't want to use poly fill this would be a great natural alternative. I also wonder if anyone has tried to felt with this material... might work for that as well.

Came exactly as described, a 8oz bag of alpaca hair that I plan to put out for the birds to use. A little odd they just use a plastic zip lock but then again I guess what else are you gonna use.🤷🏼‍♀️ I like that there was a mix of different hair colors. Will update once I find out if the birds like it or not

After putting the alpaca out with natural cotton from the bird store, it is very obvious that the cotton is preferred. Perhaps because I live in Arizona. Some of the alpaca was used. I even observed it in some old nests, just in smaller proportion to the cotton and grasses used. There is a lifetime of alpaca in this purchase, so I was able to share it with friends.

He is so generous with the amount he sends. Super soft. No smell at all. Perfect for nesting material.

This came in a gallon sized ziplock bag and was stuffed. It was a lot more than I expected, which is great! I love having the mixed colors as I’ve noticed that certain birds/critters prefer different colors. Squirrels like the gray. Juncos and the larger birds tend to like the brown. Tufted titmouse, skunks, chipmunks like the white. The fleece is clean, soft and free of any obvious (to the human nose) odor.I plan to do any and all future business with this company. Their prices are better, fleece is great quality, shipping was quicker than they stated.
