They seem like they'll be very nice and hopefully easy to stuff in the spring. Time will tell but I do like the size.

I will be waiting until the danger of snow is past before putting these out . . . pretty sure there are no hummingbirds in the area right now.

There is a significant amount of nesting material in here which looks like it’s made from coconut fibers, the hairy part on the outside of the coconut. For the most part, the hairs are of fine consistency mixed with some thicker tough ones. Be sure to take these out over a mat or big napkin, because they get everywhere.They can be positioned nicely inside your birdhouse or however you choose to use them. time will tell if the birds use the birdhouse I set out for them with this material inside it.I did not notice any type of smell coming from them either.
