Wasnt able to get this to work l, though it seems like good build quality. Maybe an internal fuse blown? Either way there is no way to access it.

On off switch and photo eye had no function. The transformer would turn on lights at all times, even when turned off

This was the best value for a landscape transformer at 100 Watts. My old model came with a rain shield, but this one was identical in size and mounted into the old rain shield. It even came with a splitter for four stations, which I did not need. Hopefully it last longer then my previous unit, which made it 5 years.Recommended!

My outdoor timer had an issue and it stopped working correct. I reached out to the Alpine customer service team and they quickly addressed my problem and replaced my timer. Great experience all around.

So far, so good. Only been operational for one week. Easily set up. Met my expectations. Had an identical transformer that lasted approximately 12 yes. When timer stopped 2yrs. ago I simply plugged that transformerinto a timer so they would work in conjuction.

This is the exact model I had for 6 years before its failure.I left it outside during the winters. It may have lasted a longer if I brought it indoors for the winter.Although I had hoped for more than 6 years, I'm satisfied with its performance.I'm lighting up my backyard next year, and will certainly order another.

I've had problems with a TimberTech transformer flashing the lights on and off due to weather conditions (cold specifically) over the past few years. The other day it completely gave up. This Alpine unit is an exact replacement for the TimberTech and you can't beat the price. Time will only tell how long it lasts, but for the price I'm very happy.

This has been installed a month or two and works great. The photocell works well and is not too sensitive. Best thing about the photocell is no surprising light schedule after a power outage or when days get longer/shorter.When it first arrived I was concerned because the specifications show the output as 12 volts AC (VAC) vs. 12 volts DC (VDC) but there was nothing in the product description on the site. I was pretty sure previous transformers were DC. I was concerned about my mixture of traditional and LED bulbs. After a little hand wringing I decided just to try it and see what happens. No problem, no surprises. I would buy it again

This 12vdc transformer was perfect for lighting up a special tree in my backyard. The setup was easy and the timer control know well marked with a plastic rain cover. It has been installed for a couple of weeks now and I expect it will last for years. This 100 watt capacity was a great value for the money and the perfect size for my job!
