Since our inception in 1993 by outdoor gear designer and company founder Dennis Brune, ALPS has become one of the innovation leaders. Founder Brune enjoyed a successful career beginning in 1979 with the technical mountaineering manufacturer Kelty. He moved from product development to sales and marketing, then to management.

I bought this to add to my Alps pack but it’s not designed to fit their packs. No sure what piece of their gear it’s to be added too.Pouches are well designed to hold all Turkey calls.

Perfect addition to my Pathfinder pack for turkey season. I like a pack better than a vest, but it’s frustrating to have to root around in the pack for a call. This puts everything right up front. It’s well thought out to quietly hold two pot calls, lots of strikers, mouth calls, a box call, a gobbler and various odds and ends (sandpaper, slick stick, etc...). I’m 5’6, and they hung a bit low using the attachment points on the shoulder straps, so I improvised higher points using the accessory straps that came with the pack and two extra male fastex buckles. I ordered the extra buckles by calling Alps and speaking with a real nice fella named Rodney. That was an added bonus. I haven’t spent much time in the woods with the Alps gear yet, but it seems really solid (especially considering the price) and the fact that I could pick up the phone and get right through to them gives me even more confidence that they stand behind their gear.

It would have gotten a 5 but we are not all skinny. The center connecting straps need to be adjustable.

I did not read the description thoroughly, looked instead at pics and thought this was a lightweight run-n-gun vest. Not true, just the two pockets and a very noisy game bag. Went to the ALPS website to try and buy buckles to hook the pockets into my vest but was unable to find any.

It's ok. Not the same quality as their packs. Noisy zippers and not a very adjustable fit.Good quality material and functional pockets.

Alps, makes great products and tough as nails too. This turkey set up is perfect for any hunter. Allows you to carry your calls right in front of you and limit the need to move around searching for your calls. The game tote bag is a plus as well. Alps, just gets what real hunters need and they come through with great products every time. I have the alps pathfinder and this product connects perfectly with it. Highly recommend this !

A must have addition to the hunting backpacks ALPS Outdoorz offers, these things will allow you to pack a ridiculous amount of gear in a very easy to reach fashion.Furthermore, you can use the straps connecting these things onto the backpack to hang various other accessories to yourself, thus rendering them even more useful. They are well built, and seem to take the weight of a lot of gear quite easily.

I got them in time to try them out for a Canadian geese hunt. I used one side to hold my shells and the other for calls and gloves and the game bag worked good for the three birds I got. I have all my turkey call in the bag now just waiting for the season to open. Great product for the price. Thanks

Really nice for a little more room I use mine for a first aid kit on one side and bear spray and small torch and emergency item's on the other side the pockets have internal pockets to organize your stuff nicely the location of the pockets on the harness allow for quick access to your items if necessary the zippers have large loops to grab even with gloves on the pocket kit also includes a fairly large game bag that attached to the back of the harness that you could put alot of stuff in I would highly recommend this to anyone who has the Alps system packs who need more space options

I bought the little bear and this was the first accessory. It turns the pack into a turkey vest. Either leaving the pack in or using it alone with the harness it works great holding all my calls with room to spear. Its easy to find just what call, stricker, slate, glass or whatever Im after. I had a turkey seat and back pad already that fit right with the harness and finishes it out perfect. Not that it needs it "I do". Its everything you could want and a whole lot more. I can pack a load in with all the gear I need for a long sit then change it up and quickly go to the run and gun with no problems. Everything is right where I need it and everything has its place so I know exactly where it is. This makes it great when I have my eyes busy either watching the reaction of a tom listening to my calls or watching one come into a feild while reaching for a different call or stricker. Its just the ideal accessory pack for a turkey hunter using the little bear. Very well thought out! The R&D department done there work here...
