The positive is that the item shipped very quickly.The negative is that the lower mounting hole will not line up. It's just about 2mm off. I spent over an hour trying to push the lower bolt through the tensioner block and the mounting slide tab. I finally gave up and just purchased a remanufactured unit. That one lined up perfectly. Someone else also left a similar review and ended up using a smaller bolt with washer and a nut. No thank you!

I'm not a mechanic at all but after watching some YouTube videos this alternator change looked pretty easy to replace for my 2006 Sienna with 249K miles. Everything went well until aligning that stubborn bottom bolt to fit through new alternator with holes in van! (Hint-tighten that top bolt when aligning the bottom bolt-as you free up a hand-loosen it later when putting on belt) So after trying for a good hour, I realized the bottom hole in new alternator to run bolt through was about 1/8" too short to align with the curved slot that adjusts the tension of belt(it kept bumping against curved slot opening). I went to Lowes and bought a slightly smaller bolt than factory(so it doesn't thread through alternator), lock washers and lock nut , tightened well and the alternator works great so far 1 month later.
