I ordered this for my 2004 Ford Ranger. It came quickly and was exactly as advertised and puts out 14.4vdc. Here's a tip. Advanced Auto rents for free a proper tool for loosening the belt tensioner. It made the job super easy!

The Amazon "Fits your car?" showed my model and year all good and confirmed fit. BUT, when I received the Alternator I realized the brackets are welded on and can't be modified to fit that model... so had to return this. The alternator itself was in awesome brand new condition and I am sure it would have worked well. Thanks for the Free return option this made it OK.

O'Reilly and AutoZone were selling this part for $200 new, instead I bought this and overnighted it for $9.99 and got it for $100 less and it fit like a gem brand spanking new! My ranger runs powerfully now.
