These are great, such a good value! They work very well for my son who has been playing for two years. There's a noticeable improvement in sound quality and mouthfeel over the same strength Rico reeds. He is very happy with this purchase because of the ease of use, and we are very happy because of the value savings!

Great beginner reeds if you want to learn reed-care, and don't want to ruin expensive reeds while you "learn as you go"...Arrived quickly and simply packaged in a clear-plastic storage case, sealed with a tamper tape that reads: "SUEWIO ALTO SAX REEDS - 10 PACK"

These are decent student reeds, easily on par with Rico orange box. The quality isn't bad, and htey're uniformly cut. I had some nasty squeak on one mouthpiece I tried, but on my student mouthpieces and my jazz mouthpiece, they can really sing even right out of the box. They aren't too stiff or brittle at the leading edge.THAT BEING SAID, let me teach you a quick trick to turn them into amazing reeds. Don't waste money on a reed knife or a $200 piece of steel (that you could get for $5 without a brand name, anyway). All you need is any dollar store emery board that's about an inch across, preferably one with a low grit and high grit sides.Lay the emery board flat on a table, soak the reed in water (or your mouth) for a few minutes, and then gently slide it over the emery board. Lay the reed on your tongue. If you feel rough patches or if it doesn't feel smooth, keep gently buffing the reed until it feels smooth. You don't want to take off a bunch of material here. You're just trying to even out any rough spots! It might take a little practice to get the hang of it, or the exact sweet spot you're looking for, but I've made these $1 (a piece) reeds play like my favorite synthetic reeds, and salvaged *far* worse reeds from far more well known brands too (Looking at you, Vandoren!)

These reeds work well on our alto sax. They are a perfect fit and just what we ordered. The price offers nice value for the money and the case will protect them. My daughter is not an expert, so we won't judge how the reed impacts her playing, but she was able to play and it worked.

I got these Alto Saxophone reeds for my son who is in 7th grade band. He expressed that he wanted me to give these a 5 star rating because he loved the sound that came from them. So these are definitely a great value based on that!

As a beginner learning the saxophone, these reeds have been a great fit for me. They provide a solid performance without breaking the bank. So far, they seem quite similar to the reeds I’ve been using, and I haven’t noticed a huge difference in terms of quality or sound. For now, they’re perfect for my needs, and I’ll definitely continue using them while I’m still getting the hang of things. If you’re starting out and looking for something affordable, these reeds are a great option!

We use all sorts of reeds and these are definitely a great option. We have used synthetic reeds, expensive reeds, standard reeds, and these. They are very slightly more "buzzy" than the more expensive reeds but for the price, they get you through practices! These are a good value, especially if you are a music teacher and need to have extra reeds on hand, or a parent who wants to save $ and still have decent reeds for school practices.

I'm always chipping and losing my reeds, so this 10-pack is exactly what I needed to keep my music room stocked. Luckily, I use a 2 1/2 anyway, so I had nothing to lose by ordering these.I was surprised at the quality, and pleased with the sound. They sound as good as, if not better, than my fancy reeds that my local music store sells. If history is any indication, I'll likely need another 10 pack in a few months, and will definitely come back and order these again.
