Good size for small pet area and a chair to visit with them. Shiney material reflects most but not all of the sun but does cool the area. I have a larger on doubled over to provide enough protection that I don't burn.Best thing I like is that it allows the cooling breeze to pass through. Other vinyl type awnings don't. I'm able to leave it up in the wind.Does give off silver flecks in passing. I don't know what thats going to end up doing to it in the future.Would be a good size for vanlife nomads. Would recomment.

This shade cloth works well to keep the bugs out, allow breeze through and provide some shade for our canopy structure. My friend who is an expert camper for Burning Man recommended this product and she would know because she has to deal with the harshest of camp environments every year. We like it and have no complaints about it.

My dogs compete in canine sports, which are often held outdoors in warm weather. Many of my friends recommended these aluminum shade cloths so I was excited to get one. I recently acquired a smaller one, but this size is beneficial as well. This 6’ x 6.5’ shade cloth will cover the top and a side of their pen, or a side of our canopy. We don’t have a competition for another month, so I tested it in the back yard. It came with cords and stakes, but I will primarily use the little bungees that were included. It effectively reflects sunlight while allowing airflow. However, the other brand that I have appears to be more durable.

This sunshade is great for protecting both humans and animals from excessive heat. It comes with several accessories, so you can use it in whatever way works best for you.I tested my shade cloth at an all-day sporting event where my dog needed some extra heat protection. The cloth is lightweight and takes up very little space in the car. As shown in my photo, the material is woven such that the cloth is transparent when stretched out. Air can get in, but the sunshine is reflected. I tied the shade to my dog's exercise pen and made a tent for her. Now I just need to get one for the car!

When I ordered this product, I wasn't sure it would fit my needs. I have several outdoor animals that are susceptible to heat-related issues, but this shade was a nice size, so I thought I would give it a go. It is very shiny and a little sci-fi looking in appearance, however, it did an amazing job of keeping the area shaded and cool! It has slits in the shade itself that allows airflow, but deflects the heat. I am extremely impressed with the job it did, and my animals stayed cool and shaded.
