This aluminum briefcase is a solid and attractive option for secure document storage. The aluminum construction provides a sturdy, drop-proof, and waterproof case, enhanced with reinforced metal corners and an ergonomic handle for portability. The external lockable clipboard adds a unique feature, effectively creating a portable desktop for fieldwork or on-the-go tasks. While the briefcase is relatively small, it's well-designed and offers good value for those needing a compact and secure case.

Absolutely junk. When changing the code to my desired code per the instructions. Could never open it again. After disassembling it the entire lock is just plastic with only one very soft aluminum bar as the actually “lock.” Construction is very poor as well. Will definitely not recommend considering the price for quality.

The LASUK aluminum briefcase is well-built, lightweight, and offers good security with its key lock. The corner protectors and foot pads add durability, making it great for storing important documents or small valuables. A solid choice for organization and protection!

Just when I thought I had everything I needed (service-wise) for doing my bids/estimates...I discovered this great looking and highly functional combo. It's a briefcase...it's a clipboard...uh, no.It both! This unique setup gives me the best of both worlds. A briefcase that's small enough to go with me everywhere I go - small and lightweight. It holds my tablet, cellular phone, a legal pad & an all the writing instruments I'll need to do my work. There's even room for a pair of digital calipers. On the outside, it's a solid black & very slick looking clipboard that just happens to have a roomy compartment with a locking latch.Note: If I try to set this down on its edge - where the hinges are located, it does not sit flat nor will it stay upright with its handle in the upright position. No problem...I've got some stick-on rubber feet for that! All joking aside, this is a fantastic accessory that certainly looks better than the clipboard I've been using since the 1990s (see photo) which also has a 'storage' area and is ~2" thick...this case is also much easier to carry than my older aluminum model.Professional looking and built sturdy - I'm more than happy to take it with me everywhere I go. If I decide that the handle is not convenient, when my hands are full, there's a shoulder strap included that latches onto metal loops on the outer corners - for comfortable carrying. The lock does indeed work, but I'd minimize the security potential of using it. Like any briefcase - if you stomp it a few times, it will open up! Ask me how I know. For the price point, I think this is a very good case. I really wished that these were available 20 years ago! It presents much more professionally than an aluminum clipboard. It's a little briefcase!I rest my case - it's a winner!

I was about to submit a bad review that I could not open the briefcase. Then by some miraculous miracle, I was able to try one last time and it popped open. The directions were inside the case. As someone new, who does not know how to work combination locks on briefcases, I had no idea which direction to push the button and no idea what the code was. If you're reading this and can't open the briefcase, try code 121. This was the code they gave me and I'd assume this is the general code they give all new cases.

Spin the numbers around to any set like 222, 678, 453, what ever you want, then move the lock button to the right once. This sets th lock to zero zero zero...Then reset the numbers back to 0 0 0 and move the button to the right. The case opens up. READ THE LOCK SETTINGS ON THE PAPER inside and reset the lock accordingly. 🔐 it's ease and you can do it!!! You got this!!!The case is very rugged and I use it for department of transportation inspections as I'm a state inspector. Any tablet will fit inside as well as a mouse and a small backlit tablet keyboard. All the guys are ordering this black case in the office and out on jobs now. And yes the strap comes with it and the quality is Very Good!!!Enjoy!!
