This part was a waste of money! This part was for a 2017 Dodge charger. Please just go to your local parts store and purchase this part. This part was installed and not even a week later my check engine light came back on, and it was still leaking oil. Stay away! After going to the local parts store and purchasing the actual part, I have not had any problems since. This product is going to be returned ASAP.

I bought this to install in a friend’s 2017 Grand Caravan that got the dreaded oil filter housing/cooler leak after a recent oil change. The old plastic unit leaked several quarts of oil onto the top of the engine before the leak was noticed. This unit won’t crack or flex like the old one. It came with all of the gaskets needed for the oil filter housing/cooler, and the upper and lower intake manifold gaskets. Installation wasn’t terribly difficult, but it was very time consuming. By installing myself, I was able to save hundreds of dollars vs paying a shop to replace with a stock unit. This appears to be very well built. I did have to move one of the sensors from the old unit, as the one installed in this part did not plug into the wiring harness. Be sure to try the connectors before you install! I’m glad I read another recommendation to test the connectors. All in all, this should last for the rest of the life of the van, as the plastic stock unit lasted 161,000 miles. Buy this filter housing/oil cooler, you won’t regret it!

Not sure if it’s shipping or manufacturing but the box had a little dent, didn’t think anything of it since it was packaged very nicely in foam. Had it installed and started it up and ran horribly. Hooked it to scanner and couldn’t get an oil pressure reading so had to tear everything back off sure enough this sensor was barely together and the internal wires didn’t look like they were soldered properly. Put a different sensor in and instantly solved the problem. Took a lot of extra time and had to buy a new sensor…

had item I stalled by my ram dealer ....after 1 month ...started leaking oil all over ....took truck back to dealer ...they said it's defective and can't fix it ....cost 600$ to have installed .....now have to order another from dealer but they are back ordered ....that's why I bought this one in first place
