This is the cutest! I love it! I don’t use the awful microfiber inserts whenever I buy Alva diapers though. They are the worst. I use these diapers with cotton or cotton/hemp inserts. I also use a liner backed with PUL as the outermost layer when I use Alva diapers because they do not offer as much leak protection as other diapers. I don’t trust them without the extra protection. They are very cute and you have tons of print options so I do like that. And affordable. They need a thicker coating of PUL on the fabric though bc they do leak. And microfiber inserts are no good.

I looooooove this print. The colors are beautiful. Even after being washed like 6 times already. Even when snapped up to the smallest size the print is really pretty. The leg holes are a little small on my chunky baby but the elastic doesnt make it tight. Its one of my favorite pockets to put on my baby. The interior is very soft and so far no staining. Putting the intsert in is easier than some of my other pockets because the hole is just a little bit bigger. Great for the price. Would totally order again.

These are absolutely fabtastic. I wasn’t sure I’d like using cloth but I am so glad that I found these and I wouldn’t go back. I have tried other brands (including bum genius), and other styles (all in ones in particular), and these were WAY better. The all-in-ones take too long to air dry to be useful soyoud have to own three times as many to avoid daily laundry. With these, the shells air dry in an hour and I can stuff a new liner in it and we’re back in business. I own 50 now, but if I was willing to do a load of laundry every night I could get away with 12 just by rotating the inserts (which take longer to dry, but it doesn’t matter because they come with 2).

I love this cloth diaper. It is so cute. This was the fist diaper I bought for my stash. I didn't have a clue which diapers would be best so I bought a variety of brands. I was really nervous about Alva Baby especially since they were so affordable. Alva is some of my favorite diapers. They absorb a lot and in my opinion are just as good as my more expensive diapers like kawaii and grovia and bum genius. My daughter is a heavy wetter and these work great for her. I have noticed that with all my diapers they don't last through the night so I bought a couple kissaluv fitted with thirstiest covers. This works great. Also just adding an extra difference made a difference a hemp insert as the extra works best since it can touch her bum where microfiber can not. Alva baby has some very cute diapers and this one is very cute and very absorbent. If your just starting out this is a good diaper to add to your stash. I have several different Alva baby because their patterns are so cute and I love them.

These are great! My son is 12 weeks old and somewhere between 12-14 lbs and about 24 inches tall. These adjust to fit him perfectly and still have oodles of room for adjusting as he gets bigger. I especially love that, even when adjusted down for small babies, they are not bulky or poofing out in weird places. There is an extra snap on the hips that keeps the wings from drooping as well, which I like. I have also tried one on my 2.5 year old 22lb, tall and skinny daughter and they fit her nicely as well.I bought these with the hope they will be good overnight and naptime diapers, and they seem like they are going to work great. The inserts are the length of the whole diaper when fully extended, so I have been using an infant (purple edges) sized prefold to stuff the diaper while it is adjusted down smaller for my son. It works fantastic. When I change him, even if the prefold is completely saturated, the pocket material that is against is skin feels completely dry. It does an excellent job wicking the moisture into the prefold and away from his skin.

I am a first time parent but have always expressed an interest in cloth diapering. I am new to this whole thing and realized there is a learning curve (with clothes diapers) and I am still trying out many different types to find the right one for my child.I waited until my child was about 10 pounds before attempting to cloth diaper. After looking at the newborn diapers I found that it was not financially viable for myself and noticed that the all in ones tended to be big and I didn't think they would fit correctly for a 7 pound newborn. At this point I have tried the shells or cover only style the all in twos and the pocket diaper. This Alva is the pocket diaper style.these are the factors I took into account when writing this diaper: affordability, ease of use and style. In my opinion I would say this diaper is pretty affordable. It was about $10 and it comes with 2 microfiber inserts. ask for ease of use anyone who is familiar with pockets toilet paper will have no problems with this its the same as more expensive it has the pocket that opens in the back with a pretty wide opening and it's easy to insert the microfiber or other style of insert. The liner that goes against the baby's skin is very soft and I have had no problems with breakouts when I use it on my child. As for style the colors are vibrant the elderly shill has something of a polyester feel but it is pretty soft and while it has two rows of snaps it is pretty manageable and fits well.At this point I can only compare it to my Kawaii baby pocket diaper. I would say the inside is a bit softer and the pocket itself it a bit bigger (as well as the inserts) because while the Alva is one size, Kawaii comes in two sizes.well I cannot say for certain that this would be comparable to the more expensive brands of pocket diapers it seems likely so. It has good construction and is well made. the seems are good and snaps are placed correctly.I give this a 4 simply because it is not my preferred type of diaper. I find pocket diapers to be a bit cumbersome and not as convenient.I have added a photo of the Alva and the kawaii for a visual comparison.
