I recently purchased the Amaran Ace 25x Kit, and I’m very impressed with its performance. This pocket-sized bi-color LED light is incredibly versatile for various shooting situations. The light can be adjusted from 2,700K to 6,500K, offering a wide range of color temperatures that are perfect for different environments. Whether I'm shooting indoors or outdoors, the light provides a natural, balanced look.One feature that stands out is the boost mode, which increases the power to 32W. This allows me to use the light in a variety of conditions, even when I need extra brightness. It’s powerful enough to light up my subject with ease, producing 1,600 Lux at 1 meter.The 4,500mAh battery is long-lasting and supports PD fast charging, so I can quickly recharge and continue shooting without interruption. In the box, you receive a really nice padded case, the light, light grid, diffuser, magnetic base mounting clip, mini-tripod, a USB-C charging cable, a couple of nice stickers, and a warranty card. You'll use the box to download the Amaran control app - through the app you can control multiple lights that you may be using through BT connection.This little light is quite powerful which is why Amaran placed a 4400mAh batter inside giving it up to a 4.7-hour life span. I do recommend charging it with a fast charger otherwise it'll take all day to charge. On the base of the light is a metal plate that you can attach two different magnetic attachments; one is a cold-shoe and the other is a mini tripod.Within the menu you can control the Hugh (2700K - 6500K), Intensity of light (1-100%), FX (9 different modes: fireworks, faulty bulb, lightning, TV, pulsing, strobe, explosion, fire, & paparazzi), Bluetooth, Custom (SOS & Double - no idea), Language, Output (you can turn it off), Boost (increases intensity), Fan, and Version (software).Overall, this is in amazing light with spectacular portable functionality and usability that just several years ago you'd be spending at least double the list price for such a piece of lighting. I strongly recommend any of the Amaran Ace lights - this is my 2nd one and I love 'em!

This is an excellent portable lighting kit on the go. The basic kit, which I also have, comes with the light, soft dome box and the QR clip. This kit adds compact tripod and a carry case, along with very useful grid which helps control the light. One downside of this light is the weak built-in magnet, which has magnets on one side and while it works, it’s easy to knock it off its place. This kit includes very well designed compact yet sturdy tripod and it can also double as a grip. One thing I didn’t think I’d needed was the grid and it provides control over the light angle and it can be used to highlight a rectangular spot which can provide much more dramatic lighting. Included soft dome box works well but grid makes this light more versatile. I like the included accessories so much that I wish Amaran sold the tripod and grid as separate items. Overall, this is much better value than the basic kit and easy one to recommend.

This is worth every penny! It’s so versatile and easy to use. I take product photos and this helps so much, as well as videos and selfies. I love the interchangeable filters/diffusers that come on and off quickly. It charges pretty fast and lasts a while. There’s different light modes, with different levels.

This compact LED light packs a lot of power and features. It has an easy-to-read display, built-in battery, and different mounting options. The kit includes a 30-degree grid, dome diffuser, mini metal tripod, and carry bag.However, it has some drawbacks. The unit arrived with a discharged battery and won't work plugged in without some charge. The magnetic quick-release system is fiddly and does not feel secure. Turning off the fan drops the max wattage to 6.5W, significantly reducing brightness. Fan noise varies with brightness settings and is much louder in boost mode.Boost mode increases power from 25W to 32W but has a limited color temperature range of 3800 to 5500K. The 30-degree grid produces stepped shadows unless used with diffusion in front of the LED panel. The grid also eats a lot of light, so it's not as useful as I thought it would be.Overall, it's a useful tool for video and photography but has limitations.

I don’t have a shortage of lights, maybe a bit too much now and I need to start getting rid of some, but for now I plan on using this for some time, light from this brand, which is why I decided to get it, again.I just got it today, same model, I have turned it on and it worked. Like the previous ones this is also heavy, proper heavy. I know why it is heavy but that doesn’t change the fact that it's heavy. The light is strong and the magnet is powerful. The fan is also fantastic. It also comes with a lot of predetermined presets, like fireworks, police, etcetera, those I think will be fun for some people. Definitely for children.Like all of these types of light attachments, it illuminates the front so you will have to pay attention to the mismatch behind the subject if the room isn't well lit.It comes with a tripod, a bag, amongst the usual things. The tripod is small and skinny but really good. It is made with good quality materials. The bag is my favourite. I prefer this because of the bag.This is my third light from this brand, and they are consistent across the board. I haven’t gotten any that doesn't work or has given me problems. Today’s one I just received so I will take a month to go through it, but so far everything seems tip top, hence the early update, though I will update if something goes wrong. Otherwise, good lights, I am happy with the lights from this brand.
