I was looking for a ladder for use on our floating dock and thought that this boat ladder would be a perfect fit. I was able to mount it on the side of the dock and it works perfectly. The kids are able to drop the ladder in the water before or after they dive in. Because of its stainless-steel construction, I'm not worried about the ladder rusting and I know that the teak platform will last with general maintenance. I'm really happy with the quality and construction of this ladder and if I need one, I would get a second for my boat.

We are usually in saltwater, and this fits the bill. The 304 Stainless steel is good in saltwater conditions but not for submerging in it for long periods of time. We always wash the boat down so including the ladder won’t be a big deal. I love the design as it is both telescopic and foldable, which makes it lightweight and conveniently out of the way. The teak wood is nice and easily maintained. It’s a very nice ladder for the price.
