I ordered two others that are much flimsier than Amco. In fact, the other companies bait and switched me by using a pic of Amco, but they were knockoffs. Four stars because even Amco do not last forever as the enamel eventually chips off after a few years.

I love this squeezer! After years of using this particular brand/type, my father swore it was the best. I gave it a try and agreed. Then I had to find it. Luckily it was Amazon to the rescue! I now use mine constantly and it gets out every lemon drop.

Usei em espremedor poucas vezes, mas, estou otimista quanto o produto. Tem uma ótima pegada, parece ser resistente (pelo peso) mas é de liga metálica quebradiça (não sei como se chama), como já mostrado em outras avaliações aqui, há sensação de insegurança ao aplicar força. Espero que dure bem, pois é um utensílio bonito.

Been using this for a few weeks now and absolutely love it! Why I had been struggling all these years to squeeze lemons and limes without this is beyond me. It is holding up nicely and been through the dishwasher numerous times. The only negative is that if you buy the giant Costco lemons, they don’t fit well so you have to maneuver them in, but it can be done.

Great home kitchen tool - much better than fighting with those steel stars perched precariously over a bowl. Solid construction, nice to have two sizes built in for variable sizes of fruits.

I have and use many different lemon/lime squeezing technologies...electric Braun, hand auger, side squeezers and this. This is the best approach but it has it's issues. The main being that there seems to much gap between cup and plunger so that not everything is squeezed and there is waste.HINT: Cut lemon or lime in half. trim the end off so you have a 1inch diameter of flesh. This gives a place for the juice to flow to get to the holes. After first squeeze insert the top into the center of the squeezed fruit with the point facing the plunger and squeeze again...this gets most out.If you making a lemonade or similar and you wash the fruit first then you can toss the squeezed rind into the drink for a nice garnish.

I always thought these squeezer juicers were ridiculous and stuck with my old fashioned bowl-style squeezer until I saw a friend get through making a batch of margaritas in a quarter of the time it usually took me just to get all the limes juiced. I went out and bought one, but was disappointed that it wasn't large enough most lemons.This one will fit lemons, and unlike the one I had before, is much easier to clean. I've noticed on other brands that the acid from the juice will react with coating, turning it white and chalky, but several months in the finish on this is not showing any signs of dulling or degradation.Paid the same for this that I paid for the small juicer, and it works even better... Love it!

This has quickly climbed to the top of my most useful and most used kitchen "gadgets".It squeezes every last drop out with very little effort, it does limes and lemons of all sizes and the insert is always there, so there is nothing to loose. Since I do a lot of things with citrus, I use this frequently and love it every time. It even does a great job of those halves you already zested. Other methods can leave a bunch of mush in your hands when trying to squeeze those, but not this little gadget! And you require much less hand strength to get out every last drop of juice than so many of the others!I have been through my fair share of handy little things to juice lemons and limes, but none hold a candle to this thing!Initially I thought it was a little on the pricey side, but it is quite sturdy. No plastic parts, so there is hope that it will last for a long time!Update: I have now had it for 1.5 years.I still use it almost every day and I still love it! It appears to be holding up very well! I even put it through the dishwasher on occasion and so far it looks as good as new!Update 12-2012: It has now been over 2.5 years since I bought it, and we are still on that one! It is a very often used gadget in my household, yet it is holding up very well! It does have some minor signs of wear by now on the green insert part where the lime juice gets squeezed, but it IS minor and totally expected. Definitely still THE lemon squeezer for me! BTW, I put this in the top shelf of my dishwasher regularly too!
