The face of each panel is made from top quality birch and the frame is constructed of a smooth solid wood cradle (frame around the back) which provides a strong foundation, ensures against warping, and makes for easy hanging. Smooth sanded edges allow your creation to flow beyond the face of the panel. Wooden panels are quickly becoming the preferred surface for many artists.

These deep cradled painting boards are perfect for mixed media. I love the deep sides because they don't have to be framed.

Good quality wood at an affordable price. These are not paint ready as they do not have a primer. You will need to apply some sort of primer or your paint will be absorbed by the wood. I have been using American Easel wood panels for a few years now and you can't go wrong with these.

I made a clock out of this piece. I made a hole and installed the clock at the back where it's protected by the frame. I like how it turn out after I painted it (sides and surface).

This was exactly what I needed. I used this to do some wood burning art. Wood was soft enough to use a wood burner but still very strong and durable. I plan on purchasing some more of these!

Exactly what I needed to paint trees on. I also purchased clear gesso so that the grain of the wood will be visible behind the painted trees.

I ordered two and think they're awesome. I painted each with acrylic and then used mod podge to apply a photo. The results were two professional canvas looking pieces of art for a fraction of the cost. I wrote on the back with a sharpie; yes it bled, but what do you expect from an unfinished piece of wood. Would definitely order again
