So I have reached that age where I spend way too much time looking for my keys only to look through the window of the house and see them on the table. I purchased this so my spare keys are housed in the outside shed tucked away in a secret corner. This was a great buy for me. Sturdy and easy to use. It is also great when the kids visit and need to get in.

While I was mounting this on the wall, the outside piece around the keypad snapped off! I glued it because I had already mounted it, otherwise I would have returned it!

This lockbox serves the purpose I bought it for,I needed key storage on a job site. It does exactly that and when the project is over I can easily change the combination and it will serve as a hide a key location. Easy combination setup, easy installation and if you fasten the box down first and then leave a couple screws out 1/2โ then you have a better hooks to hang keys from. The reason for a lower rating is that the cover hinges are feeble, they are just two tiny pins into little brittle plastic loops, they broke almost immediately. Also, even before the hinges broke and the cover was gone the box was not waterproof, not even close. Now it is mounted under an overhanging box doing what it was purchased for with waterproof key tags, I am satisfied.
