Your cart is empty.The JJ ECC823 is wired in reverse of the ECC832 / 12DW7. In the ECC823 the first half of the tube (pins 1, 2 and 3) are the high gain 12AX7/ECC83 spec (gain factor 100) and the second half (pins 6, 7 and 8) are the low gain 12AU7/ECC82 spec (gain factor 20).

Improved Marshall DSL15H greatly. Green channel sounds great. Red side is somewhat usable now. If you own this amp.... ECC823 is the way to go!

Exactly the thing for taming the overdrive channel of the Marshall DSL15C. Perfect! No other changes! Plug n play - less noise, less VOLUME. (How often do you need to scream at home anyway?)

Half 12ax7/Half 12au7. Great for two channel amp, where one is to high gain. It tames it down.

Great tube. Kept the tone on the first channel on my amp the same while lowing the gain on the second channel. I use this valve to replace V1 on a Marshall DSL 40. This allowed me to keep the green channel the same which has a great tone from the factory. The red channel however, has so much over the top gain that it is basically useless for a low-gain player like myself. With this valve, the red channel had about half of its gain reduced. It is now much more usable. Worked as expected.

These tubes are decent. Of coarse theres better sounding tubes out there but for the working musician this is a good choice. Nice round bottom end smooth mids and clear focused highs. On top of the tone these tubes seem like they are built to last.
