I purchased the Anderic FD40-H02R / FD30-H02R 6-Speed DC Ceiling Fan Receiver as a replacement for the original receiver in my Harbor Breeze fan. While installation was straightforward and the receiver is compatible, I’m disappointed with the performance.The main issue is that the fan speeds are not the same as the original. The range and strength of airflow at each speed level feel noticeably different, with some speeds weaker or less responsive than expected. This makes it difficult to get the same comfort and control I had with the original unit.I was hoping for a direct replacement, but unfortunately, this receiver doesn’t deliver the same experience. If you’re looking for an exact match in fan speed and performance, this may not be the ideal solution.

I would give no stars.Did not fit our Harbor breeze as ststed. I was not able to get a refund. I asked for a refund and never received a response at all.

I had this frustrating issue with my fan where the fan worked fine but the lights didn't. I checked the wiring, unsoldered the triac and re-soldered a new one... nothing worked.Finally bit the bullet and bought this part, replaced it, and now the lights work.I can't fathom how it's a $70 part when it's so basic... you can get a much more complicated budget phone for $100... but I guess it's better than spending $200 for a new fan. For me it was more about not wanting to send a whole fan to the landfill when the issue seemed pretty fixable given that the motor still worked.Worked with my remote (see pic). What I had to do to pair it:1. turn off breaker2. turn on breaker3. click the "learn" button on the remote 5 seconds after turning on breakerAfter that, the remote paired and all is working as intended.Reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is just because of the price... I'd think something as basic as this should be $20-30.

The receiver in my Harbor Breeze 6-speed ceiling fan stopped working. The replacement I ordered fromDan's Electronics Etc. Inc., was exactly what we needed. It arrived sooner than expected, was easy formy son to install, and quickly restored my ceiling and light to like-new working condition! I was verypleased with the process and the results.

My fan was making a "clicking' noise when on the low fan settings. I determined that it was the capacitors on the controller. This motor controller looked like the original and was installed easily. Once installed, there was no more clicking noise. The unit worked with my original remote control without any problems. The only thing that the new controller does not do, is making the ring sound when the light/fan are turned on or settings changed. This is fine because it does not bother anyone in the middle of the night when the fan is adjusted.I recommend this product. Although Harbor Breeze is not my first choice in ceiling fans (the fan came with the house), this was much cheaper than purchasing a new light/fan from a company like Hunter.

My ceiling fan started only staying on for about 1-3 mins and then beeping endlessly. I tried all the recommendations online including resetting the remote etc, nothing worked. I was on the verge of purchasing a new fan which was very costly as its a 74" fan.In one last attempt of research I saw a recommendation to replace this part, I took a gamble because no one could confirm if it would work.At this point I would say it was an excellent gamble. Installed it in the fan and followed the attached instructions, the fan turned on right away.One thing to note is that this one doesn't give the audible beeps that the OEM gave, that may be a pro for some or a con for others.Of course you need electrical experience to install this as it requires you to disconnect and disassemble the fan (in my case).All in all excellent product, will definitely recommend.
