This Anderson door latch is a perfect replacement for my 20 year old Anderson sliding patio door whose latch broke. It is exactly like the original latch.

We never received, or the builder never installed, these when we built our home in 2011. So, when I finally got around to ordering these, I was not sure that the "stone" color would match. Pleasantly surprised to see that they are exactly the same color and exactly what we needed!

My Andersen glass sliding door screen door lock latch broke and I feared I would not know how to search for what this is called, but no worries as I found it here and it's an exact replacement. I would not call it a latch, but more of a locking mechanism, but that is just semantics.

This seems to be the only replacement product for the screen door latch we broke. Expensive for a small piece of plastic, but if we want to keep the door closed, a must-have.
