I used the same hardware left on the storm door. I put the top unit on first and then the bottom unit. It opens and closes perfectly like I knew what I was doing. Very happy.

OEM was able to install without drilling new holes. It requires 3 arms and hands for alignment. If God gave you 3 arms and hands you would probably find the need for one more.

If you like to get your ankles smashed, this is the product for you. Otherwise it's junk. When making adjustments, you have three choices - have door just hang open, have it slam shut, or have it slam shut to within 10 inches of the door opening. Ok, for those last 10 inches you have some options in how slowly it closes, but by then the damage to your ankles is already done.
