I make tiny dioramas, and this microscope is a savior for showing me details my glasses just can't capture. This unit was thoughtfully packaged (save the box!) and the instructions are solid enough. It was easy to assemble, has a smaller-than-expected footprint, and as you can see in the photos, the image clarity is exceptional! For your reference, the tiny green chair shown on the screen is really 3/4" in size.There will be cords littering your desk, mind you. They can be wrangled to an extent with a twist tie. The only oddity in my eyes is that the optional slide clips are placed so far back on the base that the lens must be slid all the way back on the horizontal arm that holds it...and even then the lens isn't pointing straight down. I will remove them since they don't serve a purpose for me. Even so, I'm very happy with this product.

This 10.1” 4K 30FPS Digital Microscope by Andonstar, is a fantastic way to fill that gap between a microscope and a 10X magnifying glass. With its ability to magnify similar to a microscope, but with the ease and quickness of a 10X lens, this is a very useful tool that’s definitely worth your consideration. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying.I. Quality – It appears to be a nice quality version of this type of product. I’d put it in the upper-middle level of the quality scale.II. Ease of Use – It very easy to use. 15 min set-up and another 10 to get used to it. Its quick and convenient to turn it in for a minute, just to take a quick look at something. The focus knobs, light and screen are all relatively easy to operate.III. Functionality – I found this to be the winning quality of this whole thing. The screen quality and large 10.1-inch size are very clear and crisp once focused. Allowing you to see in much greater detail for things like a splinter, working on a circuit board, looking for cracks, ext. There’s a lot of uses for something that can easily and quickly magnify well beyond your eyes. This one’s a little unique compared to most with the ability to do 4K 30FPS, magnify up to 1500X and offer an 8X digital zoom. Combine that with the convenient usability and it offers a lot of versatility depending on what you’re looking at. It feels like this Digital Microscope is currently offering a good value considering the quality, performance, durability and what you’re getting.Overall, I really like having this product and I’m continually finding new and useful way to utilize its skills. With its ease of use and so many applications, it’s great to have around. I recommend it to anyone that ever needs to magnify things more than 10X, but wants something that’s easier to use then a true microscope, it’ll perfectly fill that spot in the middle.You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight, that I wish I had before I picked this product. Already wrote a review but they asked again. Was using jewelers loops, magnifying glasses and a small digital microscope. Then decided to put out the $ and purchase this. The best money I have spent on anything like this and it has come in handy for more than just my small item identification. Works wonderfully for all my hobbies where I need to see something close up and take a picture of it too. Take the time and spend the money. You won't be disappointed.

I am super impressed with this digital microscope! The set-up was not too difficult to do, which I appreciate. It comes with some slides, an SD card, lights, poles, scope and 10 inch screen. The screen size and clarity alone helps to justify the value of this microscope. I loved that I could move the scope up and down on its pole to get a closer magnification, and then focus up close to 1500x magnification. Wow! My son has a professional microscope and even he was quite impressed with this. I looked at gemstones up close and was amazed that I could see all the inclusions so well, when at normal eyesight none of that was evident. I also loved looking at the slides that came with it. The close-up of the bee was incredible, with a lot of detail! The cables that also came with it can connect it to a computer. In the future I plan to try to save some photos of what I focus in on and this seems like it will be easy to do on the computer, too. This microscope is super amazing and is easy to function and I highly recommend it!
