I bought a new 25 Chevy Trax in November 2024. At the time of purchase, the wireless Android Auto worked perfectly. Unfortunately at the end of my 3 month OnStar trial period, the wireless no longer worked. I spent a lot of time on the phone with OnStar, but they could not get me reconnected. This little wireless AA device solved my problem and it works perfectly in my car, restoring all functions of the original setup. The sound quality is great. It was quite easy to install and takes up no space, hidden under the radio. I highly recommend this unit if you're looking for wireless Android Auto in your vehicle. It only works with cars/trucks that have wired Android Auto built in, and there are a few vehicle brands that it's not compatible with (that info is on the website). Just plug into the wired Accessory port (not the charging port) and follow the simple setup instructions and it should work great for you too!

TLDR: this adapter is garbage and there is no response to 3 support requests. It worked for the first week, then it started to fail. Audio started getting choppy, then it would stop, resume, then the connection would just die and never reconnect. Now it won't connect at all.I RTFM, it's not helpful for this issue. I tired contacting the seller 3 times over 2 weeks for their "world class support" and they never responded. Given the reviews, this product reeks of a piece of tech that was made well at first for the good reviews, then they cheaped out and made a crappy product, dropped the price and abandoned support to make a few more bucks.Don't buy this scammy cheap garbage that has absolutely no support.

I was a little skeptical that this would actually work and connect as seamless as everybody said it does. But they were right. Connectivity is almost instantaneous after you first look it up. It is so much more convenient You really don't realize it until you have this. Definitely would recommend 👍

It took just a couple of minutes to set up, and now, I have wireless Android in my car.

Decided to take advantage of a Black Friday deal and get this. Neatly package with a decent manual, it seem it should be easy to setup. However, it just drove me crazy as it kept connecting and disconnecting and then finally say it can't connect. I'm a IT guy so started clean, unpaired and forgot my phone's bluetooth connection to my car. Power cycled my phone. Tried a different cable. Unplugged the adapter, waited, and then plugging it back it. Made sure nothing else was connected to wifi as mentioned in the manual. Followed all the directions. I got it working once for a couple of minutes, so tried turning off the ignition, getting out of my car and then coming back later to see if it reconnect. Unfortunately, it went into the cycle of connecting and disconnecting until it just stopped trying. My CX-5 was retrofitted with Android Auto/Carplay by the Mazda dealer so maybe that could be the issue? I wanted it to work but after about an hour, it never did. Back to my wired Android Auto connection but had to uninstall and reinstall Android Auto to get it work properly again.

I have a 2005 Ford Ranger with a Sony Din radio. Was not sure if it would work, but so happy I was wrong. Very easy to hook up, ensure you read the direction though! I skipped them at first and missed a step. After I read the instructions though it was a breeze to hook up and connects within a few seconds of startup. I love it, no more wires hanging out of my dash! Works perfectly.

It was so annoying having to plug in my phone and having cords everywhere. This really cut down the clutter in my car. I'm able to turn on my car and android auto automatically pops on. It was easy to install, I plugged it into my car and connected to it via wifi. The directions in the box were pretty clear and easy to understand. I don't think there's a lag and the sound and picture quality are the same as plugging it in. Some mention that it warms up but I haven't noticed that. But I haven't driven hours with it on to test it.
