Overall, this product is doing what it is designed to do. The size is just about right for a 50 foot 16 gauge extension cord (which is what I am using it for). I do with it was just a touch bigger so that I had a little extra reel beyond where the cord wraps. Additionally, the side walls of the reel are not as sturdy as I would like. I don't think they are likely to break, but they do flex a little more than I am comfortable with.

A simple but effective cable reel. It has slots in it for keeping the plug in place while you wind up your reel. No complaints.
