I like this one because the half round wood pieces allow me to adjust for angle and height and let me move in multiple directions, not just back and forth. Better ankle and foot workout overall.

I was disappointed that this didn't come with any instructions. However, I was able to go on YouTube to find how to use it. After using it for a few days I found that I had better contact with the ground during runs. Also, the motion has decreased my Achilles pain. I don't know if it will work for everyone but I like it a lot. Just search some of the reputable content creators on YouTube to learn how to use it. They mostly, seem to call it "the blackboard."

Great quality for a good price! I have bad balance and this is a good tool to use for ankle stability.

I have a tight calf and ankle. Physical therapy the days I don’t go I usually stretch and use the boot at night which wasn’t really helping I kept taking it off at night.The first time I used it I felt instant relief also helps with my lower back and spine. Value for money and easy storage.

EDIT: I reached out to Amazon for an exchange and they sent the replacement. This one was fine. I tried it out, and it seems to work well. With the Velcro pads properly installed on the board, the attachments adhere strongly. It will take some practice to learn how to use it, but I feel confident that it will help to get my feet and ankles stronger. ADDITIONALLY: the seller reached out very quickly to offer a refund. Since I'd already replaced the item and the replacement works just fine, I did not take them up on their offer. But I definitely appreciated it!ORIGINAL REVIEW:I purchased this board to help strengthen my feet. There were similar products on Amazon, but I gravitated towards this one, based on its good reviews. Specifically, many reviews mentioned the sturdiness of the item and the strong adhesion of the Velcro when placing the attachments onto the board. However, when I opened the box, I was dismayed to find that the balance board I purchased is completely missing the Velcro! There is no way to attach the accessories, and it renders the product useless. Even though the product description didn't mention having to assemble anything, I checked the box to make sure there weren't any adhesive Velcro pads that I had to apply myself. Nothing. Needless to say, I'll be returning this and trying a different board.

I got into some ankle trouble in the past few years with high volume running, and my physiotherapist gave me some exercises that I find are improved greatly by using this tool. It's ergonomic, easy to use, and encourages me to do my physio routine with greater regularity. Thanks to these folks for making a more affordable version of the BlackBoard.

This is a little complicated and feels very wobbly. However wobbly is part of the point. Multiple configurations available to increase difficulty as you strengthen/master.
