Happy people make better shirts - cooler art, higher quality prints, more exacting quality control, etc.

From top to bottom, our people are proud of the product we produce, and cannot wait to share it with you. If you ever find yourself in Ann Arbor, stop in for some coffee and a tour - we'd love to show you how we make our stuff!

rosie the lifter kettlebell workout screen printed graphic tank top for women

Rosie the Lifter

A fun take on the classic Rosie the Riveter print, in an expertly applied and cured screen print on a soft, smooth women's v-neck blended tank top. Printed with pride and gratitude in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

So what went into this?

our team of professional illustrators create artwork to be printed or embroidered onto apparel

Our illustrators and designers create the artwork

a technical artist converts the artwork into component screens or embroidery files in a dark room

Art techs convert the art into component screens (which were made of silk in the old days, hence "screen printing" or "silk screening")

ink is pressed through the screens on carousel presses by skilled screen printers & their apprentice

Skilled screen printers and their apprentices apply ink through the screens. We use top of the line M&R carousel presses manufactured in Illinois

orders are bagged and boxed by logistics professionals before being shipped to fulfillment centers

Our warehouse team checks quality, bags, and boxes the apparel for fulfillment centers across the country

Where is my shirt made?

When you buy one of our shirts, your money is flying all around the country. The percentages vary between products as input prices fluctuate (and a small percent of our catalogue is fully imported), but for the most part, it looks something like this:

  • Ann Arbor, MI - Design, Printing, & Production- 35%
  • Seattle, WA - Advertising & Platform Fees - 22%
  • Cincinnati, OH - Apparel Distributor - 6%
  • Atlanta, GA - Logistics - 4%
  • Roselle, IL - Printing Presses & Equipment - 4%
  • Texas & Southwest US - Cotton Farming - 4%
  • Toluca, Mexico - Fabric Sewing - 3%
  • Pineville, NC - Screen Printing Inks - 1%

Screen printing is like cooking: it's not rocket science, but it's really easy to screw up if you cut corners or use sub-par ingredients. That's why we...

We hire train and retain skilled professional screen printers embroiderers and logistics operators

Hire, train, and retain skilled professionals

We have internal apprentice and educational programs that result in screen printing professionals with a thorough understanding of how ink chemistry, curing heats, and apparel fibers all interplay. Getting the combinations wrong can result in crooked prints, faded inks, or scratchy shirt fabric.

we use top notch inks that last longer and are more vibrant while also being phalate free

Use top notch inks

We pay a bit more for top shelf inks because they are worth it! QCM inks are better for the environment (one of the first ink companies to go phthalate free), more vibrant, and last longer than the cheap stuff.

we invest in usa made top of the line printing equipment which yields high quality prints quickly

Invest in the best equipment

Our screen printing presses and support equipment are engineered and manufactured by M&R in Roselle, Illinois. Having the best tools allow our printers to move faster with less waste, allowing us to create high quality products at a lower cost, which we pass to you!

Size is accurate (I like long and sort of loose workout tank tops). Washed, hung to dry, and worn once and so far good fabic and image quality. I read that the bottom rolls up but I haven't noticed that yet, but even if it rolls a bit, I think it will still be long enough for the butt coverage I like.

This was bit bigger but it was wearable to the gym if you don't like wearing super tight clothing. I'm in the over 40 crowd and I loved the kettlebell humour in it. I wish there were more fun workout shirts on amazon that poked fun at working out.

This has become one of my top two gym shirts. I love wearing it. I wash it on cold and gentle, and hang dry, to protect the image. People who know who Rosie is usually love this shirt, and people who don't know sometimes ask and then I get to teach them something new. I wear this to Bodypump all the time.

It's hard to gauge sizes when you buy online but this top is as it appears. It's supposed to be a little loose so we bought one size smaller than normal since she likes a normal fit. She is 5'-7", 160 lbs but her chest/back is about 40" from lifting so we went with a medium. The fit is perfect. Not uncomfortably tight and not baggy which is perfect for the gym. The material is very soft and comfortable and feels strong enough to last for a while. The color is just as shown in the picture too. This is now her favorite workout top and we will be looking for more from this vendor.

Love this shirt! Great quality it does have that flowy breezy feel to it. A little low cut at the neck but for me I layer it with another tank sometimes if I wear it out or during workouts I’m wearing a full coverage sports bra, so it doesn’t really bother me.The print on it has lasted very well!

It is a little loose, but I think that's how the style is. I got it as a gift for someone who wears xs, and it was a little loose on her (size small is the smallest you can get) but she wore a sports bra under and it looked ok. The quality/material is great! Good choice!

I love this tank so much!! The fit is as other reviewers said. I’m 5’8” 130 lb. I bought a small and the fit is great. I would be happy if it was a little more fitted but it’s not bad, it’s comfy. Mine was made well, no flaws. The hem does roll a little but I have others that roll, it’s not an issue for me.

I'm 5'8" and 234lbs. I bought an XL, expecting it to be small and to use it as a "goal shirt" but it already fits perfectly. I almost want to exchange it fit a smaller one, but I love it too much!

Bought this to workout in, since I'm partial to loose fits. I've bought from the AA T-shirt Co. in the past, so I knew going in that quality is usually not an issue. In buying this, I DID NOT take everyone else's advice and size down. I'm usually a M, and I bought an M. Yes, the shirt is loose. But, I knew it was, so I'm not docking the rating for that. It fits like a M that's SUPPOSED to be loose. The fabric is sort of thin. Since I bought for workouts, that wasn't necessarily a bad thing to me. Lost a star because of the hem along the bottom. It rolls up. It was still plenty long, but the roll was annoying. Also, if you sweat in this, it seems to grow and lose what little shape it has. The detail on the back straps is nice though. A lot of "decorative" straps just make the shirt a puzzle to get on, but this small twist was perfect.

I’m glad I followed the advice of other reviews and sized down. The sizing of this company is all over the place. I have their otter tank in a 2x, which fits baggy like I want my workout shirts. Their Tea-Rex shirt in a 2x is tight with no flowiness and this shirt in an xl (my standard size for shirts) fits really nice and loose. I know I’ve been lifting heavy, but I don’t think my inches lost are that much, lol!Super cute design and good quality on the stitches. Excited to wear it to the gym!
