I paid twice this for my last NVR system. The picture quality is excellent and is very reliable. The wide angle of view of the cameras is excellent compared to my old system to the point I could get by with less cameras now. Be aware I had to upgrade my router/modem as it couldn’t handle these high Def. cameras. I wasn’t getting enough bandwidth to show all cameras at the same time. My old cameras were 1080p but worked fine with the old router/modem. The only negative I found so far is there is no phone support like my old Lorex system. I had to email them with a setup issue and had to wait a few days for a reply. This doesn’t help when you need them to diagnose something. If not for this I would definitely rate this system 5 stars.

I looked for 6months after trying WiFi cameras , other brand recorders and cameras before finding this deal. I like the tinted dome on cameras and security screws to mount it- best ones I have seen! It’s ONVIF so some Poe cameras other than anpviz work like tide tech and once it’s connected cameras automatically connect like plug&play, very easy to set up. Only need one Ethernet cable for each camera in the package and 3 screws to mount it and plug nvr in and it works good day or night to 70 or 100 ft easy. Good picture on all cameras and easy live viewing and playback of a week or two before hdd fills up and it starts recording over previous footage , depending on how much motion detection you get with passing cars or people, animals , etc. or continuous recording will use more footage . Very good deal in my opinion and I tried 2 brands before finally picking this one!!

Even though the picture quality is good, the sound is terrible unless you are directly in front of it, and speaking loud and clear. Also, when you try to save a clip, it will only save the video and not the audio.Getting help on this was impossible. And this company seems to not be in business anymore or something.I'd return it if I could

Finally decided to upgrade to a NVR security camera system after years of using USB & WIFI cameras with iOS/windows apps; and after many hours of research & comparison I narrowed it down to this system based on features, compatibility, budget and expandability.Upon unboxing I set everything up on a table for a full bench test, I connected all of the equipment with provided cables and the system booted up and functioned as expected. The dome cameras offer easy adjustment/aim and a high quality picture. I also tested some of the cameras using a remote POE switch (purchased separately) across the LAN and the additional cameras connected smoothly.One issue was that some changes to settings through the NVR during testing, like camera names, would not propagate to the iOS "Guarding Vision" app until I rebooted the NVR and did a logout/login to the "Guarding Vision" app …but I am not holding this against the NVR system.All of this said; I think that this NVR system delivers everything that one would expect and then some from a system at this cost. It has an easy to use interface for monitoring all of your security cameras (up to 8) on a single screen, where you can also setup/edit all of your cameras.

Installed for a client who was on a way tight budget. Works well enough, but the cabling provided in the box is terrible. Very thin wiring and sheath. There is no way its Cat 5e. Use other cabling or be very cautious with it during install. I ran my cable tester on it and none of them passed. They still worked with the cameras though, so take that for what its worth (the bare minimum needed to work, basically)The phone app works good but the "share" feature was impossible to get to work. Wasted hours on it. Had to use the same account login in order for other devices/employees to access it which means no camera restrictions or access policies.Overall I'm impressed for the price. Would have been four stars but the cabling is just atrocious.

I am a senior and just made my first security system purchase. I am SO HAPPY I chose this Anpviz 5MP IP POE Security Camera System. Perfect kit for a newbie as ANPVIZ's attention to detail is exceptional as the pics show. Purchased the kit Saturday. Received it late Sunday. Anpviz quickly answered a few questions online today [Monday] well enough that I have the system working. I tested it with one camera in my office using an old monitor. PERFECT! My first experience with the Ethernet and it beats WiFi by a country mile in safety, security, and clarity. This kit and this company is first rate in all categories so far. Thanks ANPVIZ!

Was looking to replace my dad’s security cameras with higher quality and easier to use cameras. This was a great buy for the price. I could not believe how easy it was to set up the cameras when the other security cameras I’ve used in the past had pages upon pages of instructions. The instructions for these cameras were 2 pages!The camera quality is impeccable and the wide view is amazing. I love how I am able to zoom in and the quality is still very clear. The recording software is very easy to use especially if you are not tech savvy. My almost 70 year old dad can use the interface with ease. I want to reiterate how amazing the quality of the cameras are! Especially at night, I am shocked at how everything is still clear.A major plus with these cameras is the ability to watch them on your phone! The app is very easy to use and connect. It gives my parents a sense of safety because whenever they go somewhere they can easily bring up the cameras on their android.The sound recording on these security cameras are very high quality. We are able to hear noises near our house.Overall I have zero complaints and very happy with my purchase. I will be buying more in the future.
