Charging:

♋Charge for 3 hours, work for 30 days(On standby).The higher the sensitivity and the higher the frequency, the faster the battery will drain, so you need to charge it when it is low. You can turn it off if necessary.
♋When charging the device, the digital display will show the power level and continue to flash until it is fully charged. When the product is fully charged, the digital display will show a “4”.
ON-OFF:
☑To turn device ON: Press the “POWER” button down for 3s and it will beep once with the digital display flashing a green number which will then disappear.

The neighbor has SEVERAL large dogs, including a very loud, very barky German shepherd. I've tried PLENTY of different bark deterrents over the last three years, but this is the best by far.Placed within 25' of the problem, with frequency set to "variable" (setting #4), this is the ONLY barking deterrent which gave me a solution. I have purchased this model at least 3 times as they wear out, and will continue to purchase, at least to have backups.

Has been working great so far. Just be aware that when you turn it on it emits the noise all the time not just when the pooch barks,so you have to have it handy and just turn it on when it barks. Didn't realise this and the poor dog was shaking his head and I obviously can't hear the noise!! Drastically reduced the barking and only need to turn it on for a second and he stops straight away. Early days only had this for 3 days but so far so good.

Totally going to admit, I was skeptical of this product like how could a little box stop my Chiweenie from barking at everybody that walks past the apartment. But I am completely amazed and blown away. He will gruff now which I can handle, but this device has totally stopped his barking. I even bring this in the car when I’m dropping my kids off at school because my dogs love going on car rides and he no longer barks at the children at the school.

"My one year old pup had developed an awful barking habit and nothing I was doing was improving the situation. First day using this we have had immediate results. I have hardly had this device on tbh, only when he has went into complete bark mode. It's just 3 days later now andin general the house is really unusually quiet. Definitely worth a try if you have a non stop barker !"

One of the few ultrasonic devices that actually works. I have purchased several of the ultrasonic devices over the years, to stop dogs barking. More than half of them simply don’t work. The most usual causes are poorly designed speakers which either don’t put out a sound in the appropriate frequencies, burn out quickly, or aren’t powerful enough to transmit loud volume in the ultrasonic band. I’m almost convinced that some companies sell an ultrasonic device which makes no sound at all, relying on inability of people to hear the sound in the ultrasonic frequencies, and not having a microphone and device able to test the frequencies. Well, I do have a microphone which is sensitive to frequencies up to 25khz, and a device able to detect exact frequency.This is one of the few devices which does indeed produce sound in the three different ultrasonic frequencies as advertised, produces them in high (over 80db) volume, and most importantly has a sensitivity settings adjustment. Sensitivity settings adjustment is important, because you do not want an ultrasonic device being triggered by inconsequential sounds, passing cars, wind, etc… but rather adjust the sensitivity setting to be triggered by the sound of dog barking, adjusted for range (db volume of the dog bark). More than half of the ultrasonic devices sold do not have a sensitivity setting, which is absurd.Conclusion, this device works. It puts out three different ultrasonic frequencies depending on setting, it puts out the ultrasonic sound at a loud decibel level in order to be heard by the dog (over 80 db), and it has a sensitivity adjustment setting allowing user to account for noisy environment so the device isn’t triggered by sounds from further away.

I’m giving it a 2 star because there is no way of telling if it is ON or OFF?For example press On/Off button it beeps 1 time then green number light goes off, push it again and same thing happens with green light but with 2 beeps. If I’m not able to tell which is on or off.. I may have to return it and find a different one. I have tried both settings so my thought is there is not an OFF mode.. if so then why have the option of on and off. Also how do I know when it needs recharged? I’ve gone over the manual so many times thinking I missed something. Ugh!
