It works fine but for the clamps. I used it to drain a water softener but now I have to dump the thing anyway to retrieve the hose that fell in. The clamps do not work.

The clear hoses were one distinctive aspect. Although it might seem insignificant, this feature helped me keep an eye on the antifreeze flow and make sure everything was operating as it should. I'm not sure if the task was done correctly because other kits I've tested didn't provide this. That ambiguity was removed with this kit. The durability of the material was yet another highlight. The pump and fittings felt sturdy and well-built, able to withstand both normal use and the severe winter weather. This kit appears to be made to last, unlike many others I've used that have worn out after only one season.

Came with a 1/2 inch adapter, but garden faucet connector is usually 3/4 inch.

The kit contains five sturdy clamps to ensure a secure connection between the hose and the pump, which prevents leaks and ensures that the antifreeze is delivered exactly where it is needed.
