These Proto Anti-Vibe hammers are the same hammers you can buy on a Mac Tools truck without the "professional tool" brand markup. This 40oz hammer is a nice weight for when you really need to hit something stubborn, such as a seized brake rotor onto a hub. The "Anti-Vibe" feature really does cut down on the feeling you get in the handle while swinging it compared to a standard ball pein hammer. Used mine countless times when I need something heavier and it's never failed me. So if you're looking for a good ball pein hammer, look no further than these Proto hammers.

Love anti vibe hammers honest to goodness I’ve stopped using my famous snap on dead blow ball peens after getting a few of these and I can’t see myself going back

Misleading not made in the USA this is a Chinese tool. I returned it for a better quality American made sk ball pein hammer for a few more dollars

Seems ok. Haven't really used it yet. Description is wrong as this item is Not made in America. There is some concern as to the strength and durability as there Appears to be a weak spot on the hammer where the body meets the grip.

Exactly the same as Mac sells. Excellent quality and awesome to use. Feels great in the hand. Will definitely buy another for home use.
