This carb is lighter than the original but fit the Honda engine perfectly. I installed it, added the included fuel filter to the fuel line, poured the gas into the tank and it started right up and ran smoothly. Cheaper than a carb rebuild kit.

A good deal for the cost. An OEM carburetor alone is almost $25, but this one for less included gaskets, filter, and a spark plug. Once installed, the mower started right up!

I used all parts in this kit. Very pleased - mower started on 3rd pull! Make sure you need a manual choke carb. Use correct gaskets carefully positioned.

This is the second carburetor I've purchased and they both work great right out of the box + everything else that comes with it tunes the motor for the season.Why 2? Because I installed it, started it, used it once. and then never used it again and the fuel gelled it was just easier to replace it for the price.

I first purchased one of these in December of 2020 so I got 2 summers of mowing out of it. Given the price, and consistency of the price I’d consider this a good value. Despite blowing off my mower after most uses, the old carb was still rather filthy so it was due for a new filter and plug anyways. This tune-up probably didn’t HAVE to have a new carb, as I did notice the fuel line that came with the last carb was rotten and that may have very well been the culprit, but at $20 for carb, air/fuel filter, and spark plug, it was just as reasonable to freshen it up.This recent carb does seem to run much smoother than the last and I appreciate the screw adjustment for the idle considerably more than the factory carb.

I ordered this one because the picture was identical to the one I had or was on the lawn boy mower model # 10696. The other reason I did order this one was the large gasket that replaces the heavier metal plate and make it easier for myself without the weight and extra gaskets. The one and most annoying issue with these, is installing the whole assembly with the filter cover and lining up for the top manual choke. There's very few videos that show this style with manual choke on top. So, I combined watching two videos. In the end because of the top choke, I used this paper gasket and spacer with the carburetor linkage connected and lined that all up first. The old gasket was still on the engine, which made this possible. One video, had mentioned that some have used studs to replace the bolts and assembled it in reverse or the way it should have been.But the linkage bends could be another issue. The fuel filter is for 1/4" not 3/16" fuel line. But I still managed to use the fuel line and filter, without a clamp. I don't think these fuel lines will hold up for long, especially with the 1/4" fuel filter. The advantage with this carburetor, is that it's much lighter than the original or 1/3rd it's weight.

All I can say is it fit my engine perfectly. My engine is older and has a manual choke so I had to do some searching. This one is just what I needed. It had all of the gaskets I needed. New hose and fuel filter installed easily. The kit did not come with extra clamps for the fuel filter, but I probably wouldn’t have used them as they were not really needed.Engines started on second pull after install. To make installation easier, I found it best to drain the fuel tank and then set the mower/engine on its side with the carb facing up. Made installation easier for me.
