In our highly corrosive salt laden atmosphere here at the beach, these century pump motors hold up for about 5 years before corrosion finally gets to them since I use them outdoors. They are relatively easy to install. But most importantly, this supplier sells them for a whole lot cheaper than I can get them locally...a whole lot cheaper!Plus it arrived several days earlier than promised.

Great product. My husband was able to do it himself. Took pictures of the way the old one was connected just in case. And then hook the new one up the same. It’s much quieter than the old one 😁

Shipped very quickly. I priced the motor at several locations, including my local pool supply house, who normally has the best prices, and they couldn't come anywhere near this price. Hooked it up easily and it fired up with no problems. Runs great and very quiet...can't go wrong with this!

I was so irritated by the local "butler" pool service that constantly tried to charge extras, skipped visits, claimed they used "too many gallons of chemicals" and eventually demanded $440 for fixing the pump. Fired the lying suckers after they charged me for skipped 2 weeks. Then ordered this motor on Amazon for $160 plus matching Hayward seal repair kit ($15). Shipped quickly, was a perfect fit for my old burnt out Hayward. Relatively easy to install after watching a youtube video a couple of times. It's been 3 months of Florida heat so far, my 13K pool is clean - I only use a couple of Chlorox tabs a week (got a bucket in Walmart) - putting it in the floating dispenser ($6), check the water with strips (Aquacheck-7, $15x100) and wash the filter occasionally - it's perfect. Still puzzled why I didn't do it earlier and kept paying all this money to all those "butlers" ...

Pump was just a described, fit perfectly. It arrived sooner than expected and packaged well. Ordering from A.O Smith Motors Co. was one-half the price of the pump quoted by local pool retailers!!! The pump was easy to install with explicit instructions and it is very quiet running. Ordering from A.O Smith was a great experience! No negatives at all and I'd give them a 10+ if I could!

Motor worked perfectly in a Hayward Northstar Pump. It ran quiet and smooth.This was a cheaper option than the local pool supply store.
