The bag is well made and can take punishment. I didn't buy it for kids, I bought it to practice cane strikes for cane self defense. Given its light weight, I did have to tie it down using the bottom ring and so far it works well for my purpose.

My son loves this!! He’s so excited about it. The only thing is it didn’t come with anything to fasten it the ceiling if that’s what you are looking for. But other than that it’s great. We will be getting a bar for his unused closet doorway to hang it. We held it up for him while he used it. It will be great as an outlet for his autism!!

I liked that the bag was small enough for my 7 year old but the straps need to be long being that it is hanging from the ceiling. What child do you know in the age group for this bag is this tall????

I purchased this for my 8 and 6 year olds and it has gotten lots of abuse, but still looks the same as it did with 1 day of use, minus a few marks.It is heavy enough to give a good bit of resistance, but light enough that they can knock it around.
