After years of putting up with holders that either let the tip come out too easily or the ones that lock the tip in where it takes vice grips to yank it out. These work terrific! My friend turned me onto these saying these are all he will use. I now see why.

Like that the magnet picks 2 or 3, 3in screws out of a container when in my driver.

It has a magnetic pull that is strong enough to hold onto the screw so it doesn't hit the ground.There is a steel ring inside that holds the bit in place. The bit might seem stuck but use fingers or a pliers to kind of twist and pull. This is only when it's very new.Do not yank hard and force it. It will come right out. You will find that the bit is held securely.Chad Okeefe

Magnet is actually strong enough to hold a screw from dropping off when held upside down.
