I received my mower today. I’ve already had to charge it twice and only a quarter of my yard has been cut in awkward directions. It didn’t go back to the charger when you press the home button and will die wherever and I have to bring it to the charger myself. So disappointed

Works great for me! I'm pleased! From what I've read about robotic mowers it is a must to invest a bunch of time at the beginning to set up up the machine and establish the cutting parameters ETC. ETC. This one is no different. Yes it was involved but once the set up is complete my mechanical sheep goes to work and does a fine job on my lawn.

Works well. It does tend to get stuck on a little higher grass. Now, to be fair, I have a VERY lush yard, due to Dogs bowel movements. It does a good job, and setting up the boundary wasnt hard. in 90 minutes, had my whole yard mapped. Battery is good for my entire MID sized yard

This mower worked well but took a lot of time to set up. Most of the effort went into digging and laying out the perimeter wires. Once that was done, setting up the robot was straightforward. It doesn’t follow any set pattern and just moves around randomly until it finishes the whole area. Despite that, it gets the job done eventually. Price is fair for a beginner-level robot mower and a solid intro to hands-free lawn care.

This took us a while to set up and test properly but im so glad we did! It is still early in the mowing season in Fl but we got all the wiring in place and have tested it a few times now. I really do want to see it work when the grass is deeper but weve only got what weve got so far- weve been in a drought. Anyway if you ever had a robot vacuum youll know prety much how this works, it simply ping pongs off all the sensors until it gets the whole yard. We really have enjoyed it so far and cant wait to test the longevity. The battery wont be an issue with us because our yard is small but we are happy with the power and performance. I find it pretty quiet.

I would probably give it 3.5 stars if I could. As others have said, while it's great in concept, the reality is different. I like the idea of a machine cutting my grass but the battery runs out pretty fast. Plus building the primeter is a bit annoying, I wish it detected the area automatically as my vacuum cleaner does. The blade's wing span is not too wide, which causes less area to be covered. While that would be a big issue if a human was walking along with it but this causes it to lose charge quickly and not finish the job. Considering all this, while I still appreciate the machine making my life easier, I am not sure if it's a good value worth the price.

After owning this awhile I feel like I need to downgrade it by one star (from 4 to 3). The issue isn't so much with the machine itself but with the app.The machine occasionally gets hung up on a tree in my yard that has just enough slope at the trunk that if the unit drives at it head-on it tilts up too far and throws an error message to the app. That would be useful if the app actually pushed a notification of the error message. After it sends the warning the machine will power itself off - fine - but that act of powering off seems to wipe the memory of the previous schedule that I set up and then I have to set up the schedule all over again, which is frustrating. The couple of times I have happened to notice the machine stuck before it powers itself off, I've started it to run again from the app and it backs up and corrects itself just fine. So either the machine needs to be programmed to try to correct itself after a minute or two, and/or the app needs to push notifications. I'd also just love a notification that the machine has started mowing at the start of a scheduled time.I'm still not dissatisfied and it's running great. I've had it set up about a month and even with occasionally hitting fallen pine cones and branches the blades seem to be holding up. For the record, the blades seem to be fairly standard blades that are made to fit many different machines so replacing them shouldn't be an issue.**Original Review:**I got this set up with a boundary wire in about 1.5 hours - but I'm waiting for more boundary wire because the spool that came with it (100 meters) wasn't quite enough. It's doing pretty well so far, but of course it's going to take a few days to get caught up with the whole area I have it set up for. The cutting path is about 7 inches, so yeah, it goes slowly :) It seems to handle shorter grass ok, longer grass (like taller than 4 inches) it will get some of it in a pass but not all of it.It came with one extra pair of blades, which I can foresee needing to change fairly often, and I don't see that this brand sells any blades, nor do they recommend a suitable replacement (or even specify what the size is) so hopefully that won't be too much trial and error. It finds the base on its own which is nice, and mows in a random pattern. It seems to mow for about 20-30 minutes before needing a recharge.I've thought about getting a high-end one of these that works on GPS but this is a nice way to test out this concept. I've only been running it for a day but no issues so far, mechanically speaking. The app was easy enough to set up with my home wifi and didn't have any issues with connectivity, but there's nothing explained about the features. Like the scheduling window, will the bot just keep mowing and recharging during that window? I think so but it doesn't say. And then it has zones in the app, which are not at all intuitive and aren't explained anywhere.
