The wiring connector on the unit was too big for the wiring connector on the car to fit. I literally had to force it on and it still did not make connection. Also there are supposed to be two locator pins that align the unit perfectly over the hole in the gas tank. One of the locators was missing and that allowed the unit to not be perfectly centered and when I drive the car, it leaked gas out onto the ground.On the bright side, I removed the float mechanism and the electronics from the new module and installed them on the old top plate that has the correct connector and it worked perfectly, so if you are willing to do some extra work, you can save a bit of money since this item is less expensive than most of the others.

The connection on the fuel level sensor was too wide to connect to the cars connector. Did not fit. '05 Infiniti G35
