part did work, but if i had time i wouldn't have used it. sway bar ends are not parallel to control arm.so the bushings and bolt are on a angle

FYI I'm a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). Take this written feedback as you see fit. This "A-Premium" sway bar replacement kit with end links and bushings is listed on Amazon.ca as an OEM replacement based on the part numbers provided in the product details section. The original OEM part number for my Buick Allure CX 2006, 3.8 Litre, is "25861195," based on the GM parts website for my make, model, year, and engine displacement. This is an excellent price for a quality part made in China. I've purchased an A/C compressor from A-Premium and it works perfectly with no issues (purchased this year on June 3, 2024).The engineered function of the sway bar and end links with bushings is to prevent excessive body roll under all driving conditions. It is also a safety feature which improves the vehicle's handling and performance, especially for emergency braking and avoidance maneuvers under all driving conditions.I had my mechanic remove the poorly engineered GM OEM part which broke at both ends and replaced it with this new part by A-Premium on Amazon. My mechanic had to remove the subframe bolts and lower the subframe to install the replacement sway bar.My mechanic mentioned to me that the centermost point of the sway bar was touching the exhaust with the suspension fully unloaded (car off the ground and zero weight on the suspension and wheels). I knew this was trouble but I also figured that it may improve with the car's weight on the suspension which would drop the centermost point of the sway bar away from touching the exhaust. With the car's suspension fully loaded, the centermost point of the sway bar was then moved away from the exhaust (not touching). However, every time the car accelerated from rest (accelerate from a complete stop), the suspension would then be unloaded which caused the centermost point of the sway bar to touch the exhaust momentarily until the car's suspension settled to level with the ground under full load. The engine vibration would travel through the sway bar and into the suspension components to the steering wheel which made a loud noise. This is unacceptable. The root cause for this failure is as follows:1. The sway bar is engineered to fit a large number of vehicles. The point at the centremost point of the sway bar is not an engineered feature found in the OEM failed part that was removed. However, if little to no adjustment mechanisms are provided, then it will not be adjustable to prevent it from touching the exhaust on my Buick Allure CX 2006 model.2. The sway bar end links are NOT adjustable which prevents the ability to change the angle of the sway bar, in relation to the level ground, so that it would NOT touch the exhaust when the suspension is NOT loaded (vehicle driving off from a standing start or experiences a bounce in the roadway that unloads the suspension)Solution:1. Provide adjustable height sway bar end links and bushings so that the sway bar angle can be adjusted by the end user to prevent the sway bar's centremost point from touching the exhaust when the suspension is unloaded.I will now have to engineer a solution to resolve this issue where I will have to buy additional sway bar end link bushings to increase the height of the sway bar's end mounts to be higher, which will change the angle of the sway bar to be lower, such that the centremost point will not touch the exhaust coming from the engine under normal driving conditions, and where the suspension has no weight load on it. This engineered solution will restore the full functionality of the sway bar's function (preventing excessive body roll under all driving conditions).I will also have to go back to my mechanic at an additional cost to have this modification done after I purchase bushings to raise the sway bar end link higher. Conclusion:Purchase this part at your own risk! You may want to source a different part from MOOG or Dorman if you can find one that more closely resembles your vehicle's OEM part in terms of shape and dimensions.Suggestion to seller:Provide an adjustable sway bar end link kit so that the sway bar can be raised or lowered to accommodate the best fitment possible when installed onto a vehicle. The fitment was so close but not close enough. An adjustable end link kit would solve this issue and provide full functionality to the steering components and system to prevent excessive body roll under all driving conditions.UPDATE Septmeber 25, 2024:I'm not sure if the swaybar was installed upside down by my mechanic. I reached out to the Amazon seller and also to the A Premium Canadian aftermarket website (https://ca.a-premium.com). The website chat person was of no help because they couldn't provide me with installation instructions. I have no way of verifying the orientation of the sway bar to be installed on my vehicle. I have a suspicion it may be installed upside down but I have no document means of verifying this. Any assistance from the seller would be extremely appreciated so I can get this part to work. I may have to return it if it no longer works or eat the cost of a replacement part that fits.

I am not a fan of the plastic bushings provided with the links, so I used the metal ones from the original links. This bar is heavy and presumably solid; the original I took out may be hollow because it was several pounds lighter.
