I installed this almost 6 months ago and it still works like a charm. Don’t spend 300 USD when you can get one like this for around 100 USD. I am happy with my purchase but let me warn you, you have to know what you’re doing when you install it. It’s a little tight on bolt room and you need to remove the passenger side front tire to do it. I recommend going online and seeing videos on how to do this job. This was done on a 2008, 2-WD Honda CR-V.

Alternateur installé en février 2024, à été défectueux en janvier 2025 bonne chance si vous voulez faire valoir la garantie, au mieux ça va prendre plusieurs jours et votre auto sera inutilisable au pire le vendeur exigera une expertise très coûteuse pour honorer la garantie. Croyez-moi ça n'en vaut pas la peine, il est facile de trouver d'un fournisseur local un alternateur de meilleure qualité avec une bonne garantie à un prix à peine plus élevé.

I bought this in April 2024, it is now April 2025, the part is failing; only lasting 1 year. At first I thought it was my battery and had that replaced twice. Tested and all, battery and connections are all good. Tested alternator it had the right numbers at the shop, but when actually driving it is faulty. The dashboard pings me of "Check charging system" multiple times and sporadically which the alternator wasn't pulling enough energy and switching to battery constantly during my commutes. You can test your luck with this alternator but I think I will be avoiding future purchases on it. Not sure if I just ended up getting a bad one or not. IF you can afford OEM for your car do so, if not find a different replacement.

The light “check charging system” kept coming on and off until one day it completely stopped working I called my friend to come and charge the battery and again after 4 minutes the car stoped in the middle of traffic light. I went junk yard the next day bought one and now car works good.

I replaced the oem alternator on a 2007 honda element with this product. Everything fit and hooked up just like the oem. I put 150 mile on the car since install and no issues. Seems to be a quality product at a great price. Shipped to my door ahead of schedule.

When I was tightening the lug for the positive lead, I noticed the lug was being drawn out of the alternator housing. I didn’t think too much of this until I started having charging issues. I can apply pressure at the positive lug and it will start charging properly. Release pressure and it starts failing. I do not recommend
