Installed on 2006 dodge ram 1500 4x4. 4 bolts to remove and everything comes out, incase your cv axle is stuck. Ordered the seal since it'll need to be replaced.

Not getting enough info on this product.Dodge ram 02 is an in-between year for some parts. Yet some from 98 up to06 or 08 will fit.Do I have the correct intermediate axle shaft,no! and mine is manual shift,constantly turning, no electric engagement box!I gave it 5 stars, but I can't say it'll fit my 02 dodge! This year gives me research headaches!well it's the wrong part for an 02 dodge ram 4x4 manual shift!The axle ad says it's for right front and left front,both have the same part in boxs,but the part # is different on each box,yet part is same!Says it fits right and left side but tge correct part for tge right side is a lot longer then 6 inches!No good for my 02 dodge 4x4!The company needs to correct its statement about these!Both look the same ,but not a correct part for 02,and both are ,I suppose, the left front for an 06 up to 12.....being returned.

Reasonable priced. Arrived the next day. Exactly as the picture showed online. Easy to install on my 2011 Dodge Ram 1500. Three months later and no problems.

It works but doesn't let it engage the front axle till I'm stopping. Instead of switching into 4 wheel drive on the fly
