During shipment, No extra box for protection of damaged. Linkage connected to the motor crank was bent, which look suspicious but was installed. work for 1 day before linkage fell off by the crank. I had to straighten out that bent linkage & re-installed. It's okay now, but extra work.

Item arrived quickly and looked to be good construction. A bit of grease prior to installation would be easier to apply when the item is outside the cowl. Removal is fairly easy, cowl covers have spring retainers and a couple plastic pins at each fender. When removing the linkage from the drive motor, it is smart to run the wipers to the docked position, then get a good visual of the orientation of the drive lever. I had to pull mine because I had it 180* out of phase. Overall, this was an easy item to replace and I am hoping it lasts a few years.

Ordered this to replace a broken ball joint on a 02 Subaru Forester. Get in easy enough, has worked solid since. Just make sure while installing, that the piece of metal that attaches to the passenger side motor is the right way before you put your wipers and dash covers back on. The wiper threads should rotate clockwise, then counter-clockwise.
