Excellent fit and quality. Exactly like the manufactures original part. All this for a super low price.I recommend this 100%. On 1997 ford truck, you need to remove door speaker to make install easier,to reach up in the inside of door panel.

The top latch is a little difficult to remove and replace from the opening, but this has nothing to do with the product. Once it was mounted and cable hooked up it worked perfectly. I recommend getting this assembly instead of trying to repair the broke part. The way this latch is made you can't repair the latch without bending it to remove the plastic part that breaks.

The item I recieved was about 1 inch too short for what I needed. I tried it every wat that I could, but it was simply too short. Possibly wrong item was packaged, or I ordered the wrong item. It did look sturdy and very similar to others that I have used. (Replaced this cable several times)
