Exact fit for my 2007 Mercedes SL 550 R230. Drain plug is a 17mm bolt instead of a female Allen plug which strips easier; which is fantastic.

It was bent completely gasket was no good had to use silicone to put it on. For how many times I took it off and on to figure out the problem I wasted more money in oil and had to get the gasket from the dealer at the dealer gasket and pan was 110$. Not worth the money you save cost me more in the end wasted time.

This is the pan Mercedes updated the W166 & newer line of cars with.The pan is 5mm deeper to allow for the little nubs in the bottom of the pan to be raised higher to allow better suction & flow into the updated filter.The previous pan & filter were sub-optimal & thus allowed poor flow paired with a terrible 4 ply filter (vs the new 12 ply filter).You will also need the updated new green level spout that attaches inside the pan onto the drain pipe.This pan also holds an additional 2L (or so) of fluid so prepare for that.Otherwise it's a good bargain vs ordering from the US & paying more.
