Your cart is empty. Boat part number 1106059 is a new forward facing horn from Aqua Signal, part number 83401-1 .
This horn is constructed out of black polycarbonate with a white face. Measures approximately 6 1/8" W x 3 1/8" H x 5 1/8" D overall. Requires an approximate 2 5/8" Dia. cutout. Mounts via (2) 3/16" Dia. holes spaced 4 7/8" center to center. Rated for 12 volts/ 510 Hz and uses (2) spade male connections.

Hooked up to a 12v system with 10amp fuse and the horn works and so far appears to be waterproof however it is very quiet compared to my expectations based off of my previous aqua signal horn. Just bare that in mind in comparison to vessel size and function.

I was very excited to find this product because the hole pattern matched the existing horn holes already drilled in the boat. I couldn’t install the horn right away because I needed to cut a larger whole in the boat for the horn to recess into the boat. I was finally able to get the larger hole cut and the horn fit. Everything was going well until the plastic backing that the horn attaches to completely cracked off with light presser. I hadn’t even started applying pressure and the plastic just cracked off. When I reached out for a replacement/ warranty they ended the chat with no resolution. When I called Amazon they said it was past the return window and couldn’t help as well. I don’t know if it’s defective plastic in the product or a bad design, but I now have a $65 paper weight and a large hole in the side of the boat.If anyone is wondering, it not a strong horn sound, but it would have down the trick on a lake or small body of water to signal other boaters.
