This works great. it was super easy to use and it took the Bromine and chlorine levels down within about 3 hours. I poured the granules into the filter basket directly because they are too large to just be poured into the pool and dissolve. I ran the pump and within about 2-3 hours they were dissolved and had the chlorine back to reasonable levels. It didn't take much, a little goes a long way, even in our 15,000 gallon pool. Overall, it did just what I needed to get the pool back in balance.

There are enough reviews that indicate this product works!I deducted 1 Star:- I recently received a bottle of liquid from AquaDoc, and lid had separated during transport. But the bottle of sealed with a foil: which prevented any spillage! This 1 lbs bottle also has a very loose lid. It did not separate, but this could have been messy.- The ingredients are not listed. ...if there is an accident it would sure be nice to know what this is...- The dosage chart takes 5ppm, 10ppm, 20ppm down to 2-4ppm. That is missing in the advertisement picture.- I think this stuff is great, but also expensive. If my 18,000 gals pool is at 6ppm, the whole bottle is needed.

I ordered this AquaDoc Bromine & Chlorine Neutralizer for Pool to help with my pool maintenance. I have a saltwater pool that uses a salt generator that keeps the pool chlorine levels at the ideal concentration. Two to three times a year, I clean the filters and treat the water with various chemicals. It is during those treatments that I sometimes end up with too much chlorine. This is when I use this product. If I have too much chlorine, I add the product to my pool according to the provided dosage chart. I faced this situation a week ago, during my spring pool maintenance. The product worked very well. It quickly reduced the pool chlorine levels and allowed me to more easily maintain a safe and well-balanced saltwater pool.

I have a hot tub, and a pool. Both are one giant chemistry experiments. Anyway, I got this for the pool but ended up using it on the hot tub. Apparently, I threw in way too much chlorine (I blame lack of coffee at 6:30 am), and the next time I measured, the meter registered 12.47 ppm 24 hours later. It’s safe to say, it was pretty well sanitized, so I needed to bring that down. It had been over 8 hours since the over chlorination, so I was ok to use it. I used two tablespoons in 325 gallons of water, and it brought it down from 12.27 ppm to 2.42 ppm in 30 minutes.I have made the same mistake with our pool in the past and used a similar product from the pool store. I don’t like overpaying at pool stores, but I wanted to get more to have on hand if needed, so I picked this up on Amazon. I wish Amazon did a better job packaging it because half the contents were all over the box. It was simple enough to funnel the granules back into the bottle, but better packing would be better. Perhaps taping the lid shut? I would recommend others have this on hand. You never know when you might need it.

I recently used this product after having too much bromine in my hot tub. Using this product per instructions brought the bromine level down to be within the specified range. In addition to doing the job the chemical is supposed to do I also like the packaging. I have used several chemicals from this company and they have all preformed well.

Let me start by saying that a little goes a long way when it comes to this product. My bromine level was maxing out my test strips and I just put a pinch of this product into the hot tub and it dropped the bromine level extremely fast. Great Product, just don't use too much!

This item should receive zero stars the item was opened and contents was poured out into delivery package when poured pack into bottle from package didn’t even fill half way. I would not recommend this item waste of money!

Lid was opened and everything in the bottle was dropped to the plastic bag. Not sure if it will work or not. Very disappointed on this
