I have been on the aquarium hobby for 30 years. I have always used the liquid API test kits, however those kits take a while to use. I was looking for a test strip to quickly test water parameters when I am short on time.These test strips are accurate. I tested two aquariums using the test strips and the API master test kit. The ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and PH test results on the strip matched the results of the liquid API test kit.Using the strips were quick and easy, simply dip into the aquarium for a second, take it out and hold it horizontal for 30 seconds and match the results against the bottle.Overall, I was impressed with these test strips and plan to purchase more when these run out.

I tested my aquarium water and then did another test with water from the tap. The strips are easy to use and easy to read against the colour chart on the bottle. As suspected, the tap water didn't have any nitrates or nitrites that were present in the aquarium. A little unexpected was that the chlorine content of the tap water was also zero. I was under the impression that the tap water here had cloromine in it, but maybe this test cannot detect chroromine.Some observations:- The box comes with instructions, but the instructions are also on the bottle itself so you don't need to keep that piece of paper. The instructions are quite straight forward so likely you'll just remember them anyway.- The squares that are used for testing each condition line up perfectly with the colour chart squares on the bottle, so you always know what you are testing for, this helps to make it easy to use.- As with these kits, sometimes the result colour is somewhere in between two colours on the chart. I found it pretty easy to determine the range with the colours on the bottle, but I can see how sometimes it might be a bit harder to read. But since this isn't an exact measurement, and a range anyway, I think this is okay.Overall I'd get this kit again, I think it gives you a good idea of water conditions with the readings you want and is much easier than pulling out the big kits that make you mix solutions to test with. I'd save those big kits for when/if there is a problem and stick with the quick test to know the water conditions off hand with the strip kit on a weekly/monthly basis.

Ich benutze die Streifen tatsächlich nur um die Trinkwasserqualität bzw die Wasserhärte im Auge zu behalten. Es ist einfach zu bedienen, man hält den Streifen ein paar Sekunden ins Wasser und kann nach ca halbe Minuten das Ergebnis anhand der Farbtabelle auf der Dose ablesen.

Des bandelettes très faciles à utiliser pour un résultat en quelques secondes. J'ai été rassurée de la qualité de l'eau de l'aquarium que je pensais très mauvaise. J'ai pu réajuster quelques paramètres et maintenant, je surveille grâce aux bandelettes. Il y en a beaucoup ce qui en fait un bon rapport qualité/prix

Très facile d'utilisation, il suffit d'immerger une bandelette deux secondes dans l'eau, puis d'attendre 30 secondes que les petits carrés situés dessus se colorent. Ensuite on compare les couleurs avec celles du tableau de référence situé sur la boîte elle-même, qui nous donnent les valeurs correspondant aux différents paramètres de notre eau (chlore, nitrate, nitrite, dureté, alcalinité, pH, chlorure de sodium, ammoniac). Pour avoir fait le test avec différentes qualités d'eau, dont l'eau de mon aquarium, l'eau du robinet et de l'eau en bouteille, je confirme que les valeurs sont cohérentes.
