My shrimp and otocats love zucchini, and I do not love using clips. These work fantastic at sinking them to the bottom of the tank, where all the critters can munch away.As a warning, nerite snails will sometimes get stuck in the coils. It's very adorable and very frustrating trying to pop them out. However, it is nice when they bring the coil back up to the surface for you.

I have several aquariums. Four of them have plecos in them which love to eat fresh veggie treats. I have tried various means to get the veggies to stay, and clips don't always stick to the glass. This is a great solution.HOW I USE THISI use this for either zucchini, sheets of seaweed, celery, green leaves, cucumbers, etc. I press the spring through the meatiest part of the vegetable and wind it through. This holds it so that the fish can not tear it easily.DOES IT WORK?I have one tank with crazy rainbow fish and many plecos. They love fresh produce, but they tear it apart in two minutes. This gives them at least an hour before I have to pull it out. Sometimes I even get a longer time out of it.THE BOTTOM LINEThis is a great solution for feeding fish fresh veggies. It weighs the food down and keeps it in place quite a while.MY RATINGFIVE STARS. This is much easier than the other ways I tried to weigh down the veggies. Now I can put them in the tank without the use of the clip only to have the clip float away quickly. I will be buying more of these.
