Aquascape is an industry leader for waterfall/fountain parts and has a well-deserved reputation. This fitting as other brands have a very course thread and may seem tight at first, but let it "rest" and then re-tighten if necessary. Not sure the reason, but mine was loose when I checked it later. Good luck!
