We purchased an above ground pool that is actually 15' diameter. I do not like the pumps included as they tend to be underwhelming. I had purchased a sand filter and I wanted a pump that could effeciently fill the filter. This pump has only 3/4 hp, but it is a mighty little pump that is keeping the water circulating. This is offered at an incredible price.This is easy to install. It moves the water easily through the sand filter. It keeps the water crystal clear. You receive a pool motor that works just as well as a higher priced motor.I ran this motor consistently through three months of summer. This motor is running well and I anticipate getting many more summers of usage. Crystal clear water and easy set up. So glad I got this

This pump doesn’t compare favorably to another brand name 3/4HP pump in flow, pressure, or power draw. So it’s probably over rated, but at this price it’s an ok pump for a smaller pool, or as additional pumping in a larger pool.It is set up for 2” connections but has 1.5” adapters.Nothing else sets it apart from other pumps, it works.

This model doesn't have a timer, which is fine if you plan to run it 24/7, or for occasional use. But if you don't need to run it 24/7, they also offer a model with a built-in timer, which is my favorite.I think it's unfair to compare this to a Hayward. But it's a great overall value for a budget pump. It comes with a 2 year warranty, and I expect it will last much longer than that.I am impressed with the build quality. It's quiet and works as promised. Setup is standard and intuitive. It's got the biggest filter I've ever seen for a 3/4 HP pump.These are not 2 inch adapters, I don't know why people are saying that. It comes with both 1.25 and 1.5 inch adapters, not 2 inch.

Moves water like crazy - very powerful! Easy to install with many size adapters. Easy filter clean out. I replaced my pool pump in less then an hour and instantly saw a significant improvement at the jets. It's quite, much quieter then my old pump, made well, and functions well beyond expectations. Overall good poorly pump, should last for many years.

Our old pump finally seized up. Years of saltwater will do that. This pump works even better. It moves tons of water and isn't any louder than our old one. Time will tell after sitting in the sun pumping saltwater in our pool but so far I'm very pleased with it compared to other name brand pumps I've used.

Really great price for this! Filters water through the sand very easily. Keeps the water clear. 3/4 HP motor and has 2 inch connectors plus adapters for 1.5 inch. Really great bargain! Would highly recommend
