I really like this aquarium lamp because it’s small, versatile, can be plugged in or use batteries

I really wanted to like this light because it’s so small and I love the brand. This light does not light up a 2 gallon tank. It’s so dim! I’d use it for a night light if it didn’t automatically turning itself off so fast. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone unfortunately.

This is a great little light that I use for a 2 1/2-gallon aquarium, I bought 2 of them one for a betta aquarium and one for a shrimp aquarium.

I have used this light only for 3 days and the power switch has become flimsy. It does not hold position. however, remaining design is good. Works well for a nano tank or a terrarium.

its ok. i didn’t realise how small it was so i brought it for my 110 gallon tank. its very dull and not much light came out of it. i would obviously definitely NOT recommended for tanks over atleast 50 gallons.. my fault tho. i didn’t pay attention to how small it was online

The light is ok. It is a lot smaller than I anticipated and also I needed a light to use on a timer for my tank and this one when the power is removed by the timer device does not come back on when the timer turns on. Would not buy again unless it were for an office desk tank or something you are around all the time.

This light isn’t bad for a small tank but it is not very bright. It also does not come with a cord or batteries (my fault I didn’t read the description). The connector to attach it to the tanks opening is not very big so it won’t work with tanks that have a rim around them unless you use the leg version instead but if you use a cord rather than batteries you risk it getting pulled down. It is ok for a temporary light but unless you have a rimless tank to put it on I wouldn’t recommend it

I had my first one used the battery’s for a while, got tired of turning it on after a hour. The lights were not very bright even plugged in. I bought another one, it WAS bright for 2 days plugged it. Now you can not ever tell it’s lite. I would not recommend this.

I retruned this light. If you have a betta then you know they do not like bright light. I actually thought this was a decent light for a Betta. Very calming and relaxing. I returned it because the touch light at the top would quit working right out of the box. Every single time I had to turn the light back on and I had to unplug and plug back in. My cord is behind a big plant and it got old having to move that thing twice a day. I bought a brand new micro USB cord which cost $13 because it doesn't come with a cord. Come on Aqueon....you're a good brand...why make a shoddy product that doesn't even come with all the parts you need! The light is inexpensive but by the time you have to buy your own cord it becomes expensive.

Works perfectly for our small 1.77 gallon betta tank. Thought the “legs” would work best, but decided on sticking light directly to lid with the 2-sided sticky tabs provided. Really like having a USB option to plug-in directly to electrical source so we don’t have to worry about changing batteries. Three different light settings are pictured. Highly recommend for a small tank.
